Famous actor Sunny Deol, who gained a lot of fame by acting on the big screen in the 80’s and 90’s, is now also known as a politician. In the year 2019, he contested the Lok Sabha elections on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party and was elected as an MP from Gurdaspur in Punjab. Sunny Deol has been away from the film world for a long time, though the stories associated with her are often heard.
Sunny Deol started her career in 1983 with the film ‘Betaab’ starring Amrita Singh. His first film was a hit and since then he has acted in many great films. Sunny’s most popular films include ‘Ghayal’.
The film’s sequel ‘Wounded Once Again’ was later made. Actress Soha Ali Khan starred opposite Sunny in the film. Wounded Once Again came out in 2016 and flopped badly.
In this film, Soha Ali Khan played the role of Riya while Sunny Deol played the role of Ajay Mehra. However, once Soha slapped Sunny on the set of the film and everyone present on the set was amazed.
In fact, in one scene of the film, Soha had to slap Sunny. In this film, Soha played the role of a psychiatrist. When Sunny goes out alone, Soha slaps him hard. Soha does this to bring Sunny to her senses. It is said that while this scene was being shot, Soha slapped Sunny more than she needed to.
Sources close to the film also talked about the story. Sources said that in one scene it was shown that Sunny Deol gets very angry and gets out of his way, though Soha works to bring him to consciousness and slaps him hard. The actress was so lost in her character that Sunny had to fall victim to it.
Everyone present on the set was amazed to see Soha’s slap. Soha herself could not understand what he did. At the same time, Sunny took up the matter and did not respond. Maybe they also knew that Soha didn’t do it on purpose.
However, it is common for such incidents to occur on the set of a film. Actors often get into their characters in such a way that they make such unwanted mistakes.
In a letter issued on the letterhead of the Gurdaspur MP, Deol has appointed Gurpreet Singh Palheri as his ‘MP representative’, who will attend meetings and other functions instead of the MP.
“I, Gurpreet Singh Palheri, son of Supinder Singh, resident of Palheri village, district Mohali, Punjab, as my representative,” the letter said. He will attend meetings and other events related to my parliamentary constituency Gurdaspur constituency with the concerned officials.
