With an increase of Rs 250 in commercial cylinders, the cylinder will now be available at Rs 2,351 in Kolkata, Rs 2,205 in Mumbai and Rs 2,406 in Chennai. Earlier, the government had hiked the price of a commercial cylinder by Rs 105. When the government increased the price of a domestic cylinder on March 22, it was reduced by nine rupees.
Oil companies did not raise domestic gas prices on April 1, but only 10 days ago, on March 22, people’s household budgets deteriorated. At that time, the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder used by the oil companies was increased by Rs 50. The price of this red gas bottle then went up to Rs 949.50 in Delhi. When the price was first changed on October 6, 2021, it was priced at Rs 899.50.
